In 2011 Coleraine Borough Council appointed consultants to carry out a feasibility study to determine if it was possible to extend and pontoon Portrush harbour. A number of development options were identified with development costs ranging from £10 M to £14 M.
A further piece of work was commissioned to determine if any other value for money options were available. It is anticipated that this additional work will be completed around the end of March 2016.
