To ask the Minister for Social Development whether employees of Neighbourhood Renewal funded projects in East Londonderry are currently on protective notice pending his Department's decision on funding for 2016-2017.

I have been advised that employees of Neighbourhood Renewal funded projects in East Londonderry have been placed on protective notice, pending my Department’s decision on funding support for 2016-17. It should be noted that the funded organisation is the employer and as such assumes all statutory employment responsibilities for its employees, including the decision to place staff on protective notice.
