Answer

The Public Health Agency (PHA) has advised that it is only mandatory for customers or service users to leave contact details in the hospitality sector. Such information is requested by PHA on a case by case basis.

The PHA reports information on clusters and outbreaks by setting each week at the following link:

https://www.publichealth.hscni.net/publications/covid-19-clusteroutbreak-summary

This data is informed by people who have tested positive and advise the PHA of their location in the previous seven days, the PHA are then able to make links between cases who have attended the same setting.
