The Education Authority (EA) has advised that precise number of school pupils who have been diagnosed with dyslexia, on an annual basis, in Northern Ireland is not available.

| Year | No of pupils recorded as having Dyslexia |
| 19/20 | 9861 |
| 18/19 | 10121 |
| 17/18 | 9803 |
| 16/17 | 9590 |
| 15/16 | 9407 |
