Answer
I am pleased to report that the legislation authorising new part-time speed limits outside 104 schools across Northern Ireland came into effect on 4 March 2021. Work is currently underway to erect new signage at each of the schools identified and the first are expected to become operational within the next few weeks. Schools benefiting from new part-time speed limits in your constituency are: Carnalridge PS, Portrush; St Canice’s PS, Feeny; Drumrane PS, Dungiven; St. Patricks & St Joseph’s PS, Garvagh; and St Matthew’s PS Drumsurn.
