To ask the Minister for the Economy what is the annual cost benefit breakdown of an average windmill farm, including payments made to the (i) landowner; (ii) local council; (iii) local government; and (iv) that received by the investor from OFGEM.

The Northern Ireland Renewables Obligation is a market based scheme that operates on the basis of trading Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) across all regions of the UK. It is not a grant support scheme.

The price that individual station operators receive for their ROCs and details of capital and operational costs is commercially sensitive information which is not held by the Department.
