Answer
The Education Authority (EA) does not give advice to children and young people’s youth organisations regarding overnight stays. Within the voluntary and community sector it is the responsibility of each management committee to decide on the provision made by their own organisational staff.
The EA is however responsible for the delivery of youth services and to assist in the safe reopening of provision has produced comprehensive information and guidance including specific guidance on residential and overnight stays which can be accessed via the following link - Youth-Restart-Addendum-Residential-Overnight-Stay-Guidance-1.pdf (youthonline.org.uk).
