To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail the number of jobseekers, trainees, apprentices and other individuals that have taken part in employment and skills programmes, funded in whole or part by his Department, in each of the last five years, broken down by constituency.

My Department funds a wide range of employment and skills programmes across many different public, private and third sector settings. Because not all of the related information is held centrally, it would not be possible to provide the information requested without incurring disproportionate costs.

My Department publishes official statistics on higher education, further education, apprenticeships and training participation at https://www.economy-ni.gov.uk/topics/statistics-and-economic-research/higher-and-further-education-and-training-statistics and https://www.ninis2.nisra.gov.uk/public/Home.aspx.
