Answer
The Housing Executive will have discharged its statutory duty to all Full Duty Applicant Households (those “accepted” as statutorily homeless) once a household secures a permanent tenancy with all associated points removed. Should the household subsequently find themselves homelessness or threatened with homelessness, they can present to the Housing Executive where a new assessment of their circumstances will be undertaken and if they meet the tests to be “accepted” as statutorily homeless will again be awarded full duty status and appropriate points.
