The Housing Executive is currently in the process of nominating a housing association to take forward a social housing development of five homes on Housing Executive-owned land at Ramsey Park, Macosquin. Subject to acceptance of the nomination by a housing association, this proposal is anticipated to start on-site as part of the 2023/24 Social Housing Development Programme (SHDP).

The Housing Executive has recently responded to a planning application for 14 homes at Freehall Road, where housing need was confirmed along with the suitability of the proposed housing mix to meet the needs of households on the waiting list. It is anticipated this will be brought forward by a housing association and added to the SHDP in due course.
