Answer
I understand that the planning application (ref: LA08/2019/0129/F) referred to at Maghery Road, County Armagh is currently under consideration by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council. As decision maker, it is for the council to assess any potential risks from the proposed development as part of the planning assessment, in the first instance. My Department has received recent requests for the application to be ‘called in’ to it for determination. My Officials are currently assessing the requests and I will make a decision as to whether or not the application should be referred to my Department for determination once this assessment has been finalised.
