AQW 7262/22-27 Written question to the Minister for Infrastructure
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail (i) the number of times Article 6 of The Pollution Control and Local Government (NI) Order 1978 has been used by local councils, in each of the past 10 years, to force owners to make improvements to a dilapidated property; (ii) the council areas this has been done; and (iii) the efforts his Department has, and will, make to encourage councils to use the powers they have in this regard, particularly in reference to increased insurance premiums, reduced property value and anti-social behaviour.
