Answer
My department does not collect data on road traffic collisions. In general, road traffic collision data and related incidents is collected by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) where personal injury has occurred. This data is subsequently made available to my department and is also available to the public on access portal ‘OpendataNI.’ This data can be accessed via the below link.

A review of the current information on OpendataNI, records would indicate that there were 12 collisions within the last three years of available data where a ‘defective road surface’ has been recorded as ‘special condition at site’. Of these, there were 3 instances where a pedal cycle had been recorded as a vehicle involved in the collision.
