Answer

The Department fund the Police Rehabilitation and Retraining Trust (PRRT) to provide clinical and support services to police officers, former police officers, and their families, prior to and after cessation of their service.

In addition, PRRT provide services to a range of other organisations from within the Justice family, including the NIPS, and recover their costs from those organisations.

Given the significant and ongoing financial pressures facing the Department,

there are currently no plans to fund PRRT for any expansion of services.
