AQW 54902/22-27 Written question to the Minister of Health
To ask the Minister of Health to detail (i) the number of children that have been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, in each of the last five years, including their average age at diagnosis; and (ii) any assessment his Department has made of the potential clinical benefits and long-term financial savings associated with earlier diagnosis and treatment through newborn screening.
