I have considered the role fulfilled by the NI Ombudsman, which provides for complaints relating to the activities of public bodies, including government departments, and I am content that the current arrangements are satisfactory. Therefore, I do not consider the appointment of an Agricultural Ombudsman is necessary in the north.
