Answer
Tourism NI, Failte Ireland and Tourism Ireland are working in partnership to deliver a €7.6m Shared Island Scheme programme to improve synergies and experiences for visitors to the Causeway Coastal Route and Wild Atlantic Way, designed to increase connectivity and improved visitor experience encouraging international visitors to explore more widely, stay longer, and spend more. Discussions are underway in relation to extending the Wild Atlantic Way brand into the North.
The budget will be allocated on a 50/50 basis across the North and the South.
