Answer

My officials are currently developing the scheme design and delivery requirements for the new Warm Healthy Homes Fund: an energy efficiency scheme to improve warmth, health and energy affordability for low-income households. The scheme will be shaped by further public consultation in the next few months.

A key aspect of implementation will involve close collaboration with the appointed delivery partner to ensure all scheme materials adhere to accessibility standards and are straightforward for applicants to use. This will include providing information in large print and other alternative formats. While the scheme is expected to adopt a ‘digitalfirst’ approach, it is recognised that applications must also be available through nondigital channels, including by telephone or in writing, and with additional support such as translation services, video relay or signlanguage assistance where required.
