AQW 49848/22-27 Written question to the Minister of Education
To ask the Minister of Education to detail (i) whether he intends to review the funding model for special school summer schemes to ensure sufficient staffing levels and places can be secured in future years; and (ii) any steps being taken to ensure that all children who meet the eligibility criteria for a special school summer scheme are able to access a place.

My department and the Education Authority plan to work jointly to develop a sustainable model for summer provision from 2027 onwards.
