Answer

The Loughs Agency led the investigation, supported by my staff. Checks of the local stormwater system, testing of foul sewers, and door-to-door checks found no evidence of pollution. The incident appears to have been caused by a short duration discharge of a domestic chemical agent that quickly passed through the system.
